Pablo Marchant

Pablo was born and grew up in a closed community in the middle of the Paraguayan jungle,
A Unique Odyssey being a compilation of his father's memoirs. Arriving at Heathrow Airport in 1961, at the age of 16, Pablo soon discovered the stark contrast between his upbringing and that of those brought up in Britain. This culture shock exposed some of the bureaucracy and administrative stupidity that now surrounded him daily. He absorbed and learned, becoming a successful engineer, a career he enjoyed for many years until his retirement. He is married and enjoys walking in the countryside, spending time with his grandchildren and recounting stories of his many world travels by committing his amusing memories to paper in his second book,
Antics and Anecdotes.
